South Downs Sourcing Event - Meet the Producer

In association with A Taste of Sussex and supported by Collabor8, we would like to invite you to meet 25 of The South Downs finest food and drink producers, and sample some of the extraordinary produce available within The South Downs.

Local food is very much in the public eye and has become increasingly important in the fight against climate change. By stocking and using local produce your business not only helps to keep the rural economy strong, it helps you attract more customers and keeps food miles to a minimum. By dealing with the producers themselves, taking advantage of seasonal gluts and cutting out international freight charges, you and your customers will enjoy the freshest, tastiest food and drink at fair and reasonable prices.

Early registration entitles anyone in charge of purchasing for hospitality or retail businesses to FREE entry. Please fill in the attached form to confirm your attendance, then drop by anytime between 10.30am and 3pm on Tuesday 26^thJanuary 2010.

Between 12.00 and 1.30pm we will be serving a delicious locally sourced buffet lunch. If you are unable to attend until later that day, we hope you will be able to join us for a Hampshire cream tea which will be available between 2pm -3pm. To help us cater for the event, please indicate on the reply form if you will be eating with us.

Please confirm your attendance by Friday 8^th January - places are strictly limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. If you do not register in advance, entry on the door will be £10 a head (cheque or cash only). Registered buyers may attend free of charge.
